Weekly Update: April 8-13

The week back from Spring Break is always a rough one! I got into a routine of staying up late and getting up late and I'm sure my kiddos did too. It was so nice to have Luke home and to get ready on our own time... rushing in the morning is never my favorite!

We managed to stay well ALL year (avoided Flu A&B, multiple stomach viruses, head colds, you name it) and Luke woke up Wednesday with a barking croupy cough. I'm sure it's connected to the 2000+ pollen count... we win some we lose some I guess! Everything has that yellow film over it:
and after a nice steady rain we had puddles of pollen:

I am feeling very full and pregnant this week. I remember now until 36/37 weeks was my most uncomfortable with Luke- he dropped around that time and I was finally able to eat and breathe again.

This weeks has been relatively uneventful thankfully!

Just for fun I thought I'd do a pregnancy survey so I can look back and remember this time. I sort of wish I had done this more along the way- better late than never.

How far along? 34 weeks
Total weight gain: 10 lbs
Maternity clothes? I wish I could just schlep in sweats... but maternity pants are a must. Shirts not so much.
Stretch marks? I had 2 from Luke on my sides that faded over time. They are much more prominent, but so far no new ones.
Sleep: What's that? I wake up around 3 am and have a hard time falling back asleep. And I stay exhausted all day.
Miss anything? Painting my toe nails. Josh did that for me this week. Also comfortably taking a bath. I want to soak and relax but it's just not comfortable.
Movement: She's gone from kicks and punches to nudges. I'll feel her roll or rub up against my side, but I think she's just plain out of room.
Cravings: Sweet- any kind of ice cream with M&Ms. I don't usually have a sweet tooth but I could have a blizzard or Mc flurry ALL day.
Anything make you queasy or sick: Random things will turn my stomach. Mainly just in the morning.
Gender: girl
Labor signs: tons of BH contractions, but nothing to write home about. Hoping she stays cooking for another month.
Belly button in or out: In- I don't think it's possible for my BB to flip out.
Wedding rings on or off: On. I didn't swell until the last week with Luke. Here's hoping!
Happy or Moody? Mostly happy- and just plain tired. I'm way more weepy when I'm pregnant too, so I would say emotional.
Looking forward to: Baby shower next week and meeting baby girl!

4 more weeks of work! Baby girl will be here a month from Monday. Eeek!
